Peripatetic school

Peripatetic school
The school founded by Aristotle in Athens in 335 BC, supposedly named after the peripatos or covered walk in the garden of the Lyceum, where he lectured. Apart from Aristotle its important members were Theophrastus, Eudemus of Rhodes, and Strato of Lampsacus.
