egocentric predicament

egocentric predicament
The problem originally described in an article of the same name (Journal of Philosophy, 1910) by the American philosopher R. B. Perry (1876–1957). The 115 predicament is the fact that we are each limited or confined to our own perceptual world. This may seem either highly significant and tragic, or tautologous.
